• When are Worship Services?

Every Sunday at 11:00 a.m.

• When does Sunday School meet?

Every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the Library (various topics) and in Rm. 2 (The Present Word curriculum)  of the education building

• When is communion celebrated?

Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month during regular worship service and at special services including Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve. All Christians are welcome to participate in the sacrament, regardless of their denominational background.

• How do I become a church member?

Members are received in the following ways: by profession of faith and baptism, by reaffirmation of faith or by transfer of letter from another church. If you would like additional information, contact the pastor, an Elder or another member of the congregation.

• Are there any faith-based study groups?

Yes. Two adult Sunday School classes meet Sunday morning at 9:40 a.m.  The Bible Study class meets in the Herlin Room and the second class meets in the church library and studies topics selected by its members.  Both classrooms are in the Education Building, just down from the church office.

Also, a women’s circle meets monthly for Bible Study and fellowship.

Finally, “the Thinkers” meet Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m in members’ homes to discuss current issues affecting Christians.

• What types of fellowship activities do you have?

On the third Sunday of each month a potluck Luncheon is held after the Worship Service. In December, Sunday Luncheon is replaced by a Progressive Dinner.

Men’s Breakfast happens at 7:30 a.m. on the second Sunday of each month.  Men of the Presbyterian, Methodist, First Baptist and Trinity Baptist Churches take turns hosting at their respective churches.

A number of other social activities are held during the year, including “Calvinini’s”, an Italian food event highlighting local talent.

• How could I become a choir member?

Choir membership is open to all who love to sing to the Lord.  During the school year the choir meets Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

What about the Chime Choir?

The chime choir practices at 6pm from September to May and plays during the Worship service about once a month.  Anyone 10 years old or older is welcome to be part of the choir.  You do not have to read music or even sing.

• What type of worship service do you have?

Our worship format is traditional but casual. There is no dress code.  The music is a blend of traditional and contemporary. The dress attire is casual.
